Accept it | Before you can move on, you need to give yourself as much time and space as necessary to get to a place of acceptance. 

Distance yourself | In the beginning, you’ll probably need to get everything off your chest by talking about it. That’s healthy.  Go ahead and get it all out. But once you’ve let it all out, try to stop talking about it. Distancing yourself is important for the healing process to begin.

Focus on yourself | Do something to boost your self-esteem and life your spirit, like getting a new haircut, take up a hobby, or maybe a class. Keep yourself groomed and ready for your next chapter.
