So, imagine you buy a lottery ticket, totally convinced it’s going to win big. But guess what? The ticket doesn’t care how sure you are! Life’s kinda like that too. You might work super hard for something, like a kid aiming to be in the NBA. Effort and skill matter, but getting selected? As the scripture says in Ecclesiastes, is “by time and chance.” Like a big random draw. It’s good to give it your all, but it’s also smart to have a backup plan. That doesn’t mean you don’t believe 110% in your dream, it just means you’re thinking a step ahead, just in case. And that’s being smart, you know? So, how do you balance trusting God with being prepared? Think of it like this, If you’re going camping, you can have faith that God will keep you safe out there, but at the same time your prepare yourself with a tent, flashlight and maybe some bear anti-spray, just in case. It’s all about finding the right mix of faith and action because they both really go hand in hand. So, the next time you’re working really hard towards your dream, remember this simple phrase… Trust God, but grab a coffee. Cause you need to figure out a Plan B.
