In the New Year, establish healthy boundaries! Looking at your life right now, are you overrun with tasks that aren’t yours? Are people doing inappropriate things that you’re letting slide? Some of this garbage we bring into our own lives by failing to set proper boundaries Without boundaries, you are likely to be taken advantage of by shallow, self-centered people. Not only do you need to start connecting to your feelings, but also figuring out who and what is draining your energy. Ask yourself, what about this that doesn’t feel right? What potential outcome am I afraid of if I say no? Be aware of what you are feeling. And don’t be afraid to speak up if you’re not feeling it. I encourage you to get better at creating healthy boundaries in the new year!
