It’s crazy how life moves so fast. With all the responsibilities over the years in my adult life, I feel like I’d forgotten the simple things that made me so happy as a kid. But I’m realizing now that there’s NOTHING wrong with tapping into that inner little kid sometimes. The kid who was curious, funny, and full of imagination.

I’m still a goofball at heart. And what’s funny is, I’m not as solemn as my parents were at the same age. I honestly feel like that same 12-year-old kid who loved comic books, drawing, and watching cartoons with a big bowl of Lucky Charms.

Life should be about growing older, while still maintaining a playful and mischievous attitude. So, continue to be adventurous, full of humor, and finding joy in lighthearted antics. It’s holding onto the spirit of childhood even as you navigate the responsibilities and challenges of adulthood.

And believe it or not, you’re giving yourself a little mental break from all the grown-up stuff we have to deal with.
